Ministry of Foreign Affairs Commissioner Liu Xianfa visits UM

A delegation from the Office of Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, led by commissioner Liu Xianfa, visited the University of Macau (UM) on 27 April and was warmly received by Rector Yonghua Song. During their meeting at the UM Gallery, Song told the guests about UM’s latest development and achievements in academic affairs, research, and teaching. He also discussed UM’s strengths and how they could help the university nurture patriotic, globally minded, internationally competitive, and socially responsible graduates. Liu praised UM for its rapid development and outstanding achievements in recent years. Members of the delegation also visited UM’s State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City, and Centre for Cognition and Brain Science.
