A delegation led by Song Baowei, president of Northwestern Polytechnical University (NWPU), visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by UM Rector Yonghua Song. The two parties signed a student exchange agreement, aiming to promote student exchanges and reciprocal visits between the two universities.

During the meeting, Song said that UM is committed to nurturing talent who love the country and Macao and contributing to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He added that NWPU is an important partner of UM, and the two universities will strengthen their cooperation and make greater contributions to the national science and technology development and the cultivation of innovative talent. In addition, the delegation visited the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City, and the UM Library. They also spoke highly of the university’s research development.
