UM realiza seminário sobre investigação comparativa em estudos de Macau e estudos regionais

A seminar on comparative research on Macao studies and regional studies was held at the University of Macau (UM) today (26 November).

More than 30 scholars from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Hong Kong attended the seminar, with some of them presenting their studies on the subject. CMS Director Lam Iok Fong served as the moderator of the event.

For centuries, Macao has played a unique role in cultural communication between the East and the West, which makes Macao studies increasingly important. This event was jointly organised by UM, Jinan University, the Palace Museum, Beijing Union University, and a company in Guangdong, with the aim of providing a platform for experts and scholars to have in-depth discussions on Macao studies from the perspective of regional studies.
