Nova liderança da Associação de Estudantes da UM visita Gabinete do Secretário para os Assuntos Sociais e Cultura

A delegation formed by the new leadership of the University of Macau Students’ Union (UMSU), led by UM Dean of Students Paul Pang and Student Development Section Special Advisor Grace Chau, recently visited the Office of the Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture and was warmly received by Tam Chon Weng, secretary for social affairs and culture. During the visit, members of the leadership told Secretary Tam about the union’s goals for the coming year and plans to strengthen collaboration among students from various higher education institutions in Macao. Secretary Tam recognised the effort of the union and encouraged the students to continue to engage in university and social affairs. In addition, Secretary Tam told the students about the SAR government’s loan interest subsidy programme to help university graduates apply for language training courses, and encouraged the students to participate in exchange trips and develop their language skills.
