The Pacific Rim Digital Library Alliance (PRDLA) Annual Meeting 2014 was held at the University of Macau’s (UM) Wu Yee Sun Library. The conference attracted over 50 experts, scholars, and librarians from New Zealand, Australia, the United States, Canada, Singapore, mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. UM Rector Wei Zhao, University of Auckland Librarian Janet Copsey, and UM Librarian Paul Poon spoke at the conference. Participants then exchanged ideas on how to create effective communication channels and share resources among PRDLA members.
The PRDLA was formed by libraries from more than 30 universities, including UM, the University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Taiwan University, the National University of Singapore, Stanford University, the University of Washington, the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Auckland, the University of Melbourne, and the University of British Columbia.
