The University of Macau (UM) recently held the 23rd and 24th lectures of the Distinguished Lecture Series. Both lectures had the support of the Department of Treaty and Law, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, People’s Republic of China (PRC), and the Office of Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC. Keynote speakers for the two lectures were Huang Huikang, director general of the Department of Treaty and Law, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Xue Hanqin, judge of the International Court of Justice, respectively. The 23rd lecture focused on China’s foreign affairs and international law, and the 24th lecture discussed the international law and the peaceful resolution of international disputes.
