Health Bureau staff promotes the new Regime of Tobacco Prevention and Control at UM

To celebrate the International Women’s Day and to enhance the public’s awareness of the importance of periodic gynecological check-ups and the harms of tobacco, the University of Macau’s (UM) Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs, the Health Bureau of Macao SAR, and the Women’s General Association of Macau jointly organized the “Great Lady, Stay Healthy” activity, which is part of the “Women’s Health Promotional Activities”. Also, in response to the implementation of the new Regime of Tobacco Prevention and Control, the Health Bureau set up a counter on UM’s campus to promote the new regulations. Approximately two hundred UM staff and students participated in the activity.
