The Honours College (HC) Promotion Month 2013, along with the application period for the Honours Programme for the Class of 2016 of the 2013/2014 academic year, came to an end on 15 March 2013. Many students from different faculties applied during the application period.

HC’s Promotion Month aims to increase students’ knowledge about HC, including its Honours Programmes and life at HC. During the Promotion Month a series of activities were held, including in-class briefing sessions, college exhibition, leadership workshops, interaction with HC students, volunteer activities, personal statement workshop (co-organised with the English Language Centre), tutor programme workshop, as well as Honours Programme consultation counter. Each activity attracted many first-year undergraduate students wishing to join the HC.

Every year HC works together with its Student Association (HCSA) in organising the Promotion Month, in order to provide an opportunity for HC students to develop event organisation skills and to gain practical experience. This year’s Promotion Month was co-organised by the Class of 2015 HC students.

Relevant interviews will be conducted in early April, and the Class of 2016 HC students will be admitted in the coming June.
