The Eighth International Conference on the Legal Reforms of Macau in Global Context – Law and Sexuality, organised by the Centre for Law Studies of the University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Law, will be held at UM on 29 October and 30 October 2015. Scholars and experts from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Portugal, Brazil, and Macao will attend the conference to discuss a wide range of topics, including Crime-related sexual acts, Law and prostitution, Law and homosexuality, and Sexuality and other special legal issues.

Speakers at the conference will include scholars from Coimbra University and Porto University from Portugal, Catholic University of Portugal, Universidade Federal do Paraná from Brazil, University of Kainan from Taiwan, Panamerican University, University of Macau, as well as experts from mainland China and Macao, with judicial and legislative experience.

The conference will be held in the E4-G062 Lecture Hall, Anthony Lau Building. The first day of the conference will last from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and the second day from 9:30am to 6:15pm.
