O grupo inglês de debate da UM ganha o 7º campeonato no concurso de debate inter universidades

The University of Macau (UM) English Debating Team recently won its seventh straight championship in the English category of the 13^th Macao Inter-varsity Debate Competition, setting a new record for consecutive wins in this contest. Members of the team also swept six individual awards, including the Best Debater Award in the final and five Best Debater Awards in the preliminaries. Organised by the Tertiary Education Services Office, this year’s competition was held in the theatre of UM’s Student Activity Centre and attracted 18 teams from the Macau University of Science and Technology, the University of Saint Joseph, the City University of Macau, and UM. The UM team will participate in the North East Asian Open 2015 to be held in Beijing, in the coming November.
