PhD Student Vong Iat Hang win Grand Paper Award

PhD student Vong Iat Hang from the Faculty of Education (FED) was honoured with the Grand Paper Award in the 2007 Annual Conference of the Geography Teaching Research Society of the Chinese Society of Education.

The 2007 Annual Conference on the theme “Professional Growth of Geography Teacher in New Curriculum Background” received academic papers from more than 200 scholars and experts specialized in geography teaching research. Vong Iat Hang was recognized for his paper titled “Geography Curriculum and Professional Development of Geography Teacher in Macau”, which was one of the top six papers among the selected 126 papers.

This paper covers part of the latest results of a research project conducted under the supervision of Prof. Shan Wan-jing, Dean of FED.
