To support the Macao SAR government’s ‘1+4’ economic diversification strategy and promote the intelligent transformation of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector and community activities, the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) of the University of Macau (UM) and the Macao Association for Internet Research jointly organised the course ‘Practical Course of AI-Powered Event Management: From Planning to Evaluation’. The course aimed to equip participants with practical skills and up‑to‑date knowledge of AI applications for the MICE industry in Macao.

Matthew Ting-Chi LIU, director of CCE, said that the course attracted strong participation. He noted that the centre will continue to work with professional organisations to offer more high‑quality programmes that combine emerging technologies with practical applications, contributing to the development of Macao as a smart city and to the growth of its digital economy.
