UM holds flag-raising ceremony to celebrate 26th anniversary of establishment of Macao SAR

In celebration of the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), the University of Macau (UM) held a flag-raising ceremony today (20 December) at its Lotus Square to extend its best wishes to the country and the SAR.

The ceremony began at 8:00am. Members of the UM National Flag Team marched in perfect unison as they escorted the national flag, the regional flag, and the university flag to the flagpole. As the national anthem played, the three flags were raised solemnly.
