The ‘Scientific Research Projects Result Exhibition and Academic Report 2025’, organised by the Science and Technology Development Fund of the Macao SAR, was held today (10 December). The University of Macau (UM) showcased 85 research achievements at the event, and Ge Wei, vice rector of UM, attended the opening ceremony.
This year’s event featured keynote speeches and academic reports on a range of cutting-edge fields, including artificial intelligence, smart healthcare, and engineering technology. A total of 157 completed projects from 2025 were showcased, of which 85 were research achievements from UM, accounting for more than half of all the projects. In addition, Jia Yanwei, associate professor at UM, presented her research team’s latest findings in microfluidics technology, highlighting UM’s strength in interdisciplinary research.
