Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award Ceremony takes place in Hong Kong and Macao

The 6th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award Ceremony, organised by the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, took place in both Hong Kong and Macao today (22 September), with the University of Macau (UM) hosting the ceremony in Macao. A total of 79 young entrepreneurs were honoured with awards this year, including eight from Macao, three of whom are UM alumni.

Over 3,000 people attended the event in person and online, including government officials from the Hong Kong and Macao SARs, as well as leaders of chambers of commerce and associations in Hong Kong and Macao. Following a rigorous selection process involving independent assessment by academic institutions and invited experts, six young entrepreneurs from Macao received the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award and two received the Best Entrepreneurship Award. Two of the recipients of the Outstanding Young Entrepreneur Award are UM alumni: Si Iong Iong, hotel general manager of Lok Fu Enterprise Holdings Limited and Jones Chong Cho Lam, founder and chairman of Chessman Entertainment Production Co Ltd. Additionally, UM alumna, Ng Si In, executive director and general manager of Silver Bullet Technology (Zhuhai Hengqin) Co Ltd, received the Best Entrepreneurship Award.
