A delegation led by Kong Changsheng, chairman of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), accompanied by Lam Ka Wai, a member of the Henan Provincial Committee CPPCC, visited the University of Macau (UM) and was warmly received by Yonghua Song, rector of UM. The two parties held in-depth discussions on talent cultivation as well as the development of higher education and academic disciplines.

Song highlighted UM’s commitment to cultivating high‑calibre talent and expressed hope to collaborate with universities in Henan to promote educational exchanges, cultural heritage preservation, and joint research initiatives, contributing to national and regional development as well as talent cultivation. Kong praised the university for its achievements in talent development, and congratulates the university on its 45th anniversary.

The delegation also visited the University Gallery and the Wu Yee Sun Library to learn about the university’s development plans and academic resources.
