A delegation led by Tao Kaiyuan, vice president of the Supreme People’s Court, visited the University of Macau (UM) to learn about its development and achievements in research and teaching. The delegation was warmly received by Yonghua Song, rector of UM.
Song gave the delegation an overview of UM’s history and development, and highlighted that the university is committed to nurturing talent who love the country and Macao and producing more research results to help the Macao SAR promote economic diversification and integrate into national development.
The delegation expressed appreciation for UM’s achievements in research, teaching, and innovation. Tao expressed hope to further strengthen cooperation with UM in research and talent cultivation in the judicial protection of intellectual property rights. The delegation also visited the University Gallery and the Wu Yee Sun Library.
