A group of University of Macau (UM) PR Student Ambassadors recently visited the Macao Museum and the Macao Museum of Art, in hopes of improving their docent skills. Participating students said that every docent has his or her own style, and by observing how other people do it, they hope to slowly develop their own unique styles to make a deep impression on visitors to the university.

The PR Student Ambassador Programme was launched by the Communications Office three years ago, and has since trained 120 PR Student Ambassadors. In last year alone PR Student Ambassadors received over 1,700 visitors from around the world. Their friendly manner and professional tour-guiding skills have played a positive role in promoting the unique campus culture of UM. Apart from guiding campus tours, PR Student Ambassadors also assist with various kinds of university-level events.
