The International Association of Students in Economic and Commercial Sciences (Association Internationale des Étudiants en Sciences Économiques et Commerciales, AIESEC) of the University of Macau (UM) recently organised an overseas internship experience sharing session, during which two speakers were invited to share their overseas working experience. In the session, Laughter Wang, a UM master’s student from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, said that his internship opportunity in Amen not only allowed him to work in a multi-cultural environment, but also helped him to grow and become more independent.  Another speaker was Pascal Sam-soon, who is from Mauritius and is currently undertaking an internship in Hong Kong. The sharing session attracted many UM students, and they had a good discussion with the speakers.

AIESEC is one of the world’s largest student-run organisations. With over 80,000 members from 113 countries, it aims to offer young people an opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills. The 2013 spring overseas internship programme offered by AIESEC in UM is now open for application. For detailed programme information, please visit http://www.facebook.com/aiesecumac.
