The University of Macau (UM) is now accepting applications from Chinese mainland Gaokao students for its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 intake. Eligible students can submit their applications online through UM’s official website between 4 May and 26 June.
Eligible applicants must achieve the minimum admission scores for first tier undergraduate programmes in the 2026 Gaokao and the Gaokao English score at 110 or above, admission selection will be made on a competitive basis.
UM offers scholarships to applicants with outstanding performance in the Gaokao. A preferential policy also applies to eligible applicants with Gaokao registration record in Beijing, Guangdong and Zhuhai, as well as those with residence registration and school enrolment in Hengqin.
Applicants should be aware that UM does not work with any institutions or agencies for student admissions.
