The University of Macau (UM) held its 15th Healthy University Day to encourage university members to lead a healthy lifestyle, care about the environment, and protect personal and environmental safety. According to UM’s Acting Rector Michael Hui says it has been almost two years since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. The university has been actively cooperating with the Macao SAR government’s policy in the fight against the pandemic by implementing preventive measures and doing its best to protect the health of it staff and students as well as to ensure the normal operation of the campus. In addition, the university has organised two mass vaccination campaigns on campus to help Macao achieve herd community. So far, over 93 per cent of UM students have received the COVID-19 vaccine .
