The University of Macau (UM) Karate Team recently won six gold medals, two silver medals, and four bronze medals at the 20th Macau Karate-do Club Tournament. Cheong Ieng, a student in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Chao Kuang Piu College, won the championship in the mixed open category (brown belt individual). Lei Ka Pou in the Faculty of Social Sciences and Chao Kuang Piu College won the second prize in the mixed open category (black belt individual).
