20 members of the University of Macau (UM) Chao Kuang Piu College recently participated in a volunteer teaching trip to Congjiang in Guizhou province. Led by college master Lau Yun Tung, the students visited a primary school and gave lessons to students from rural areas. In addition, they created a giant mural in the primary school to symbolise the friendship between Congjiang and Macao. Through this trip, the UM students have learned more about the local life and culture in Congjiang, which helped them realise their goal of teaching and also enrich their teaching experience.
