UM Department of Chinese Series-10: UM’s collaboration with other universities’ Chinese departments and its Writers-and-Artists-in-Residence Programme

The University of Macau (UM) has made good progress in recent years in the area of literature, arts, and the humanities. The Chinese departments at UM, Peking University, Taiwan University, and the University of Hong Kong have jointly launched a programme in an effort to enhance academic exchange and student training. The university has also launched the Writers-and-Artists-in-Residence Programme, through which leading writers and artists from around the world are invited to be writers-in-residence at the university.
