UM Rector Wei Zhao talked about UM’s latest developments; Interim Vice Rector Fan Xitao updated participants on the recent developments of academic affairs; Vice Rector Rui Martins explained the Multi-Year Research Grant (2014-2015) and UM’s latest ranking in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings; Vice Rector Haydn Chen talked about students’ lives on the new campus and other student-affairs-related issues; and Vice Rector Alex Lai updated participants on the relocation, improvement plan and enterprise resource planning. Participants asked questions and offered suggestions on university affairs during the Q&A sessions.
