The University of Macau’s (UM) Cantonese Debating Team and Mandarin Debating Team both won championships as well as several Best Debater Awards at the 11th Macao Inter-Tertiary Debate Competition.
Six local higher education institutions, including UM, the Academy of Public Security Forces, the Macao Polytechnic Institute (IPM),the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), the Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau, and the City University of Macau, participated in this year’s competition in the Cantonese category. UM, MUST, IPM, the City University of Macau, and IFT also participated in the Mandarin category.
