Peer Support Programme participants visit Fu Hong Society
of the Peer Support Programme, or PSP, recently visited the Fu Hong Society in
Macao to play games and making handicrafts with people with developmental
disabilities there, in hopes of spreading love and helping them to build up
confidence. This was the last of the “Love Pay It Forward” community activity
series co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) Alumni Association and the
Student Affairs Office, in celebration of the tenth anniversary of PSP, a
programme that aims to foster mutual help and mutual caring on the campus to help new students adjust
to the new environment. Earlier activities in celebration of the tenth
anniversary of PSP included visits to the elderly’s home, children’s home,
beach cleaning and free hugs.
