| The University of Macau String Orchestra does well at the Macao Young Musicians Competition. |
The University of Macau (UM) String Orchestra recently participated for the first time in the Macao Young Musicians Competition, and won a Certificate of Competence in the Ensemble of Western Instruments category, a Certificate of Merit in the Violin Solo Advanced category, and a Certificate of Competence in the String Concerto category. The competition was organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau of Macao SAR, and attracted participation of nearly 1,400 person-times.
