The University of Macau (UM) will hold the Ceremony for Conferment of Honorary Degrees and Higher Degrees 2011 on 5 November (Saturday) at its Cultural Centre. Chief Executive of Macao SAR and UM Chancellor Dr Chui Sai On will preside at the ceremony.
PhD and master graduates are required to collect the seat cards and admission tickets at the registration desks on the ceremony day between 15:00 and 16:30. Each graduate is entitled to up to two admission tickets for family members and friends. All attendees are required to be seated by 16:30. Latecomers will be denied entry.
Due to limited parking space in and around the UM campus, public transportation is highly recommended. Those who have confirmed the need for renting the graduation gowns are required to complete relevant rental formalities on the day of the ceremony and return the gowns to the Campus Service Section by 13:00 on 7 November.
