Cheang Pei Lok, a student at the University of Macau (UM) and a member of the Macao team, along with his teammates, won a gold medal in the men’s team kata (amateurs) mass participation event at the 15th National Games today (6 November). This is also Macao’s first medal at this year’s National Games.
Cheang is a student in the Faculty of Business Administration and Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College. He and his teammates defeated teams from Beijing, Guizhou, Shandong, and Hong Kong with their exceptional skills and teamwork and clinched the gold medal. UM extended congratulations to Cheang on his victory, stating that the gold medal is a testament to his hard work and showcases the outstanding performance and sportsmanship of Macao athletes.
