The training programme took place at UM from 26 to 30 May. It covered research on Chinese medicine mechanisms, the application of cutting-edge technologies in Chinese medicine research and development, and global registration and regulatory policies. Participants also visited UM, MUST, and GMTCM to gain a comprehensive understanding of innovations in Chinese medicine technology in Macao.
Frederico Carvalho, a participant from Portugal, said that the training programme enabled him to understand Macao’s advantages in promoting the internationalisation of Chinese medicine, such as its research capabilities, strategic foresight, and international connections. He expressed hope that participants from Portuguese-speaking countries will contribute to the internationalisation of Chinese medicine.
