Remember the moments, so fine

By Bailey, Liu Ziyan

Last week, my friend and I were taking a leisurely walk to the Taipa Houses-Museum in the evening. Luckily, we came across a gathering called the Lusofonia Festival, the Cultural Week of China and Portuguese Speaking Countries.
I have lived in Macao for three years, but, to be frank, I had never got into this kind of festival before. So in my final year, I decided to take a rest and to exclaim the word "I'm coming!" by taking a fantastic trip to experience Macao again.

"Oh my God! So many people!" I have to say that Lusofonia is quite hilarious. Organized by Macao's Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM), this is the 13th Lusofonia Festival. It is a magnet for all residents as well as visitors, especially for those who have been taken in by Macao's downtown architecture that combines Chinese and Western styles, it is a not-to-be-missed fun in a beautiful
town on the southern border of China.

The most traditional is the most fashionable. The booth of traditional folk art of Sichuan Province, China, gives a great impression to visitors. This colorful and lively stand from Sichuan presents special handicrafts: sugar art, pictures made of syrup, and character painting, which means using pictures to write words.

Booths from each region show visitors their traditional arts and crafts, music, pictures, videos, garments, books, and souvenirs, which are on display in a variety of stalls. An assortment of readyto- eat food and beverages are available to visitors at reasonable prices.
Delicious food is what children can never resist. Look, how much joy these kids have after they tasted the food from the Brazilian and Sichuan booths.

Lahane, a singing group that comes from East Timor, has been established for 13 years. As the mainstream representative of East Timor's Cormtan music, they have been invited to perform in many countries. The latest one was in the Shanghai World Expo 2010. A super star!

I believe the Table Football Tournament must be a boy's favorite. The competition is divided into two age groups: 15 years old and below, and over 15 years old. After preliminaries and the finals, a winner can get MOP800 as a reward. Isn't it attractive?
"Come on! Show your heart to your bride!" A sweet couple is playing a traditional Portuguese game. The bridegroom needs to stand in a bag and jump to his bride. Is it hard to jump? Of course! But for love, it's worth it!
The Grand Prix Simulator is perfect to fulfill the desire of children who want to be a speed racer for a while. Since it is easy to "drive" and the sound and visual effects are so real that it provides the best way to promote the Grand Prix, which opens in November.

What cosmetics do you use for make up? My answer is watercolor. I believe each of us must be curious about that. But after you have this experience, you will feel that you are the most special beauty under the sun.

Staying in my room, sitting by the window and looking at the ocean, whose color is a mixture of green and brown, I love to spend my time doing this after the sunrise or before the sunset. It is because, when I am recalling my moments here, I can easily smell the aroma of multi-culture floating in the sky, which is the most incomparable beauty of Macao.
A year hence, or more, when it's time to say goodbye to Macao, how many of you will remember the send of Macau.

I will.
