The University of Macau (UM) held a seminar on diplomacy and communication, featuring Mao Ning, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) and director general of the Department of Press, Communication and Public Diplomacy of MFA, as the guest speaker. The seminar aimed to enhance students’ and faculty members’ understanding of major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and China’s foreign policy.
The seminar was conducted in a Q&A format. Drawing on her extensive experience in diplomacy and communications, Mao explained the core principles underpinning China’s approach to major-country diplomacy. She responded to students’ questions and offered practical insights.
UM Rector Yonghua Song, Vice Rector Mok Kai Meng, and other senior officers also attended the seminar.
