Yonghua Song, rector of the University of Macau (UM), visited Tsinghua University today (18 July) and was warmly received by Qiu Yong, party secretary of Tsinghua University. The two parties had in-depth discussions on deepening their strategic cooperation.
Song emphasised that UM is committed to collaborating with Tsinghua University to cultivate more talent who love the country and Macao, and to drive scientific and technological advancements. The two universities have agreed to collaborate in several areas, including deepening exchanges between the residential colleges of both universities, jointly exploring new paradigms of whole-person education, enhancing postgraduate education to cultivate top innovative talent, promoting the use of artificial intelligence to empower education, and building new pathways for talent development.
