The Korfball Team of the University of Macau (UM) won the runner-up title at the 14th All China University Korfball Championship. In addition, team member Lam Ka Hou was awarded the ‘Best Male Scorer’ title. The team’s achievements highlighted the exceptional talent and strong performance of UM athletes.
Organised by China Student Sports Federation, All China University Korfball Championship is the highest-level university korfball competition in China. This year’s event was held in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, attracting 16 teams comprising over 230 athletes from Macao and across the Chinese mainland. The UM Korfball Team, represented by seven members, delivered an outstanding performance to claim the national runner-up title. In addition, team member Lam Ka Hou, a student of the UM Faculty of Business Administration and Stanley Ho East Asia College, earned the ‘Best Male Scorer’ title.
