More than 600 students and staff members of the University of Macau (UM) took part in the “Walk for a Million” activity today (14 December). This year, UM raised MOP 63,130 for the annual charity event. The donation has been handed over to the Macau Daily News Readers Charity Fund. UM Rector Wei Zhao also participated in the walk, and presented prizes to the participants, including the Enthusiasm Prize – Participation (Group), the Enthusiasm Prize – Donation (Group), the Most Generous Donation Prize, and the Most Active Participation Prize.
