The University of Macau (UM) today
(5 April) held a seminar titled ‘Urban Planning and Public Participation’. Dr
Chui Sai Peng, president of the Macao Urban Planning Institute and a member of
the UM University Council, was the keynote speaker. He discussed the current
development of city planning and how the general public can participate in the
process. The talk was co-organsied by the Macao SAR government and the China
Association for Science and Technology, with assistance from UM. It was hosted
by the Macao Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology. The event
was part of the Cross Straits, Hong Kong and Macau Collaborative Innovation
Forum (Macau) – Experts in Campus activity.
