Tang Yanyan, a PhD student from the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Law (FLL), received the sole Best Paper Award at the 16th biennial conference of the International Association of Consumer Law (IACL). Ten papers from different countries, including Denmark, Greece, Spain, Australia, Brazil, and Canada, were shortlisted for the award. Tang’s paper was supervised by Prof Wei Dan from the FLL. With a history of 25 years, the IACL is one of the most influential professional bodies in the field of consumer law. This year’s conference attracted well-known scholars, experts, and consumer protection agencies from over 30 countries.
