The seventh\nmodule of the Global Leadership Development Programme Series: International\nIntegrated Resort Management, co-organised by the University of Macau\u2019s (UM)\nAsia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management (APAEM) and Rikkyo University\n(RU) in Japan, is now open for enrolment. The programme will take place in Tokyo\nfrom 4 July to 7 July. This year\u2019s theme is \u2018Strategy and Innovative Value for\nIntegrated Resort in Japan with Minimum Social Disruption\u2019. All are welcome.<\/p>
Glenn James\nMcCartney, associate dean (curriculum & teaching) of UM\u2019s Faculty of\nBusiness Administration (FBA); Ricardo Siu, an associate professor in the\nfaculty; and Robin Chark, interim head of the Department of Integrated Resort\nand Tourism Management of the FBA, will be the keynote speakers.<\/p>
For the first\ntime, this programme is partnering with Rikkyo University, the best university\nin the field of tourism education in Japan. The four-day module will be focused\non the current development of integrated resorts in Japan. Participants will\nhave the opportunity to learn theoretical knowledge about both gaming and\nnon-gaming management, applied economics for leisure industries, as well as\ngaming psychology and responsible gaming. In addition, participants can join a site\nvisit to the Tokyo Disney Resort to learn about the crisis management operation\nand management model of a large-scale entertainment complex.<\/p>
This module\nis specially designed for senior executives working in international integrated\nresorts or the gaming industry, senior government officials, as well as\nscholars, researchers, senior consultants, and administrative personnel in\nrelated fields. Those who are interested should submit a completed enrolment\nform and required documents to the APAEM by 10 June.
