The event aimed to strengthen the ties between the\nuniversity and its alumni, promote alumni\u2019s sense of belonging to their alma\nmater, and provide a platform for alumni to engage in exchanges and give back\nto the university. The event attracted the participation of many alumni who\nhold important positions in different sectors and fields.<\/p>\n\n<p>In his\nspeech, Ge Wei, vice rector of UM, said that as an important event for FBA, the\ngala dinner brought together many outstanding alumni and faculty members to look\nback on the development of the faculty over the past three decades. He also praised\nthe alumni for their achievements and contributions in their respective fields,\nwhich have played a crucial role in the development of the faculty.<\/p>\n\n<p>Yu Jun,\ndean of FBA, delivered a speech titled \u2018The Past, Present, and Future of the\nFBA\u2019 and reviewed the faculty\u2019s milestones in recent years, including the\nachievement of becoming one of only 1 per cent of business schools worldwide\nthat hold three international accreditations, and the launch of the Doctor of\nBusiness Administration (DBA) and Executive Master of Business Administration\n(EMBA) programmes. In addition, he shared with the alumni the faculty\u2019s future\ndirection and strategies, including its vision, mission, and development plan that\nalign with societal expectations and the university\u2019s overall development.
