A delegation led by Mr. Li Benjun, Deputy Director of Liaison Office of the Central People\u2019s Government in Macau SAR, paid a visit to UM on 27 November 2007 and was warmly welcomed by Rector Prof. Iu Vai Pan. Other visiting representatives include Mr. Liu Xiaohang, Secretary of Culture and Education Department, Mr. Li Zhengqiao and Ms. Xu Ting, Deputy Secretary of Culture and Education Department, Mr. Ning Yuetao, Division Chief of Culture and Education Department.<\/p>
After a brief introduction about the current situation of UM, Rector Iu Vai Pan highly appreciated the value of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macau SAR in promoting the cultural and academic advances of Macau SAR. The visit is regarded as a valuable opportunity for UM and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macau SAR to intensify their exchanges and cooperations in the future in order to give a strong boost to the development of culture and education in Macau.<\/p>
