Considering that there have been confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection in Macao, the University of Macau (UM) will postpone the resumption of classes after the Chinese New Year holiday in order to reduce the risk of the spread of the outbreak. Classes are expected to resume on 11 February (Tuesday). In the meantime, UM will continue to closely monitor the development of the epidemic in Macao and make appropriate arrangements accordingly in order to ensure the safety of faculty, students, and staff.

The latest information will be released on the dedicated webpage of the UM Task Force for Pneumonia Prevention and Control https://www.um.edu.mo/zh-hant/task-force-for-pneumonia-prevention-and-control.html. Please stay tuned for the updates.
