UM student leaders visit universities in Hainan province

The University of Macau (UM) Student Affairs Office organised a trip to Hainan province for student leaders from UM’s Alumni Association and its sub-organisations. The visit aimed to help students learn more about mainland China and promote exchange and collaboration between universities in Macao and Hainan. Led by Paul Pang, dean of students; Grace Chau, director of the Office of Sports Affairs and special advisor on student development; and Stephanie Io, head of the Student Development Section, the delegation visited Hainan Topical Ocean University and Hainan University and was warmly received by Chen Mingbao, member of the standing committee of the party committee of Hainan University and head of the United Front Work Department. During the trip, the UM delegation also visited Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone and the venue of the Boao Forum for Asia.
