The UNCITRAL-UM Joint Conference 2018 titled ‘Emerging Legal Standards in the Harmonisation of Trade Law and Implications for Regional Economic Cooperation’ recently opened in Macao. The event was co-organised by the University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Law and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL). During the event, experts and scholars discussed international legal issues arising out of various UNCITRAL texts and the related harmonisation of laws.
