UM will confer the Doctor of Letters honoris causa degree on Prof Pai Hsien-yung in recognition of his contributions to literature and the art of Kun opera. After the ceremony, there will be a Doctor honoris causa Lecture titled ‘My Kun Opera Journey’ by Prof Pai Hsien-yung.
