A book launch for a new book titled the Chronicle of Macao (2010-2014) was held today (14 October) in the University of Macau (UM) Wu Yee Sun Library. The book was jointly published by UM’s Centre for Macao Studies and Social Sciences Academic Press (China). Prof Hao Yufan, dean of UM’s Faculty of Social Sciences, and Lin Guangzhi, academic manager of UM’s Centre for Macao Studies, are the book’s editors-in-chief. The book contains 684,000 words and is released simultaneously in Macao and mainland China.
