Recently the University of Macau’s (UM) Student Counselling and Development Section and the Volunteer Society under UM’s Students’ Union co-organized a series of “Long Lasting Love” activities on campus, in collaboration with UM’s Cantonese Debating Team, Mandarin Debating Team, English Debating Team and UM’s International Film Society. Organizers hoped that through exhibitions, role-playing, exhibition debate match and film screening, students can have a better understanding of the needs of those with physical and mental disabilities in studies and in everyday life as well as the importance of mutual support among students.
