The fifth International Conference on Analytical Psychology and Chinese Culture: Dreams, Symbolic Language of the Psyche, Nature and Culture will be held at the University of Macau (UM) from 6 June to 10 June. More than four hundred experts from the United States, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and mainland China will attend the conference.

There will be seven pre-conference workshops on 6 June and 7 June, which will cover such topics as themes of sandplay and practice (speakers: Harriet Friedman and Rie Mitchell), embodied imagination (speaker: Robert Bosnak), the power of stories and myths in psychotherapy (speaker: Allan Guggenbühl), contemporary Jungian child and adolescent analysis (speaker: Brian Feldman), psychological types and Jungian analysis (speaker: John Beebe), expressive sandplay and Jungian analysis (speakers: Eva Pattis and Luigi Zoja), and sandplay supervision group (speaker: Ruth Ammann).

The conference is co-organized by UM and various other institutions, including the International Association for Analytical Psychology, the International Society for Sandplay Therapy, the City University of Macau, the Chinese Federation of Analytical Psychology and Sandplay Therapy, Taiwan Association of Psychotherapy, and the Taiwan Institute of Psychotherapy, among others.
