At the “Modern Cup” Table Tennis Competition 2012, University of Macau (UM) staff from the Faculty of Education (Dr. Emily Shieh Jin-Hy and Dr. Jiang Chunlian) and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (Dr. Chen Yu and Dr. Angela Chang) won the first runner-up prize in the women’s group category. Mr. Lei Man Kei from the Information and Communication Technology Office won the first runner-up prize in the men’s individual category.
Event organizer, the Chinese Educators Association of Macau, said it was very impressive that UM won the first runner-up prizes and expressed hope that more UM staff can participate in the competition in the future.
