UM PhD student Liu Qunwei’s project, Studies of Feminist Thought on Literature in Contemporary China, sponsored by the National Social Science Fund, has been rated excellent.

The National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science recently announced the evaluation results for projects sponsored by the National Social Science Fund for the year 2011. The project, Studies of Feminist Thought on Literature in Contemporary China (project reference number: 04BZW046), undertaken by PhD student Liu Qunwei of the Department of Chinese, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Macau (UM), was rated “excellent” for her concluding work entitled “Reconstruction of the Value of Everyday Life: Studies of Feminist Thought on Literature in Contemporary China”. Granted only to projects that represent the highest level of academic studies in China, the National Social Science Fund is very difficult to obtain. Usually an extremely small percentage of participating projects can be rated excellent.
